`Demolish walls in Sainik Farms'

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to demolish all boundary walls above 1.5 metres height at Sainik Farms in South Delhi.

Issuing the direction on a public interest litigation drawing the attention of the Court to the raising of boundary walls by residents of the affluent colony above the permissible limit of 1.5 metres, a Division Bench of the Court comprising Justice M. K. Sharma and Justice Sanjiv Khanna directed the local body to file an action-taken report in the Court within three weeks.
