Officials told to clear all garbage in two days

BANGALORE:
Following a news report on the poor maintenance of Ulsoor Lake published in The Hindu on Wednesday, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Commissioner K. Jariaj inspected the lake and directed the officials to clear all garbage in the next two days.
He directed the zonal officials to ensure that contractors in-charge of keeping the lake clean completed the task immediately.
The Commissioner slammed the officials and directed them to complete cleaning of the storm water drains in and around Ulsoor Lake at the earliest.
