COIMBATORE: Ex-servicemen, their widows and children will be eligible to receive financial assistance to pursue higher education under the Prime Minister's Educational Assistance Fund. A release from the Ex-servicemen Welfare Board has said that those interested in pursuing education in engineering, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, MBA or MCA could apply for the assistance. The dependents of ex-servicemen, who have joined any of the above said courses in the academic year 2006-07, are also eligible to apply.
Documents
They have to submit their applications before May 15. The application form could be downloaded from http//www.dgrindia.com and submitted along with the required documents and a Demand Draft for Rs. 30.
