This Day That Age
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was on May 10 re-elected President of the Indian Union. Unlike as on previous occasions, he will be sworn in on May 13, before a larger audience. Previously, he was sworn in at the Rashtrapathi Bhawan before a small protocol-bound audience of Ministers, diplomats and other dignitaries. In order to enable some of his constituents, MPs and others to witness the swearing-in, this time the ceremony will be held in the Central Hall of Parliament.
