VIJAYAWADA: Chennai's Chakra Cricket Academy defeated Chittoor District Cricket Association by nine runs, while Kadapa District Cricket Association beat Ebenezer Marker XI by nine wickets in the under-13 invitation cricket tournament organised by the Chakra CA and Chittoor District Cricket Association at Tirupati on Wednesday. According to information received here, six teams — Chakra CA, Chittoor DCA, Kurnool DCA, Kadapa DCA, East Godavari CA and Chennai's Ebenezer Marker XI qualified for the super league. The scores: Chakra CA 156 for nine in 30 overs (M. Karthik 34, Manzoor three for 15) bt Chittoor DCA 147 for 9 in 30 overs (Surya 75, Abhishek three for 35). Ebenezer Marker XI 118 in 30 overs (Ashwin 25, Saleem three for 15, Vamsi two for 25, Nikhil two for 15) lost to Kadapa 120 for 1 in 22 overs (Dhurva 35 not out).
