New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday approached President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam seeking his intervention for carving out a separate Telangana State. A party delegation met the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan and requested him to advise the Centre to draw up a bill to carve out a new State from Andhra Pradesh. - PTI
