NIZAMABAD: The Argul Gaddam Rajaram and Narayana Trust will set up computer training centres in all mandals of the district to provide free training to educated unemployed youth. To begin with, the trust floated by US-based physician Argul Gaddam Srinivas will launch these centres in five mandals of Armoor, Velpur, Jakranpally, Sirikonda and Nizamabad next month. Each centre will be provided with five computers with software required to train the youth to get employment in software companies. Giving details of his mission at a press conference, Dr. Srinivas, son of late Mr. Narayana who was the younger brother of former Finance Minister late Argul Rajaram, said he would bear the entire cost of the project. Dr. Srinivas is based in the US since the last 18 years and has been setting aside 10 per cent of his annual income for taking up philanthropic works in Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. As part of his vision, 2,400 villages were selected in 88 mandals of Nizamabad and Adilabad districts to provide free health services through continuous medical camps. Since last June, over 100 medical camps were held.
