KARIMNAGAR: Balladeer Gadar has stressed the need for further intensifying Telangana statehood movement by converting it into peasantry movement from the grass-root level. Participating in a meet-the-press programme organised by the APUWJ district unit at Press bhavan in Karimnagar town on Thursday, he said, "The Telangana movement has stopped at the crossroads. The people's movement should be made into a farmers' movement demanding the legitimate rights of waters, natural resources, jobs, etc.'' He asked students to participate in the movement and demand their rights in the educational institutions. He suggested to poets, intellectuals and others to strengthen the movement from the grass-roots and said Telangana State would be formed before 2009.
