BSP workers celebrate party's victory in Uttar Pradesh polls

TRIUMPHANT: Bahujan Samaj Party activists celebrating the victory of their party in Uttar Pradesh by garlanding Ambedkar's statue and distributing sweets in Hassan on Thursday.

HASSAN: It is festivity in Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) camp in Hassan. The BSP activists led by district BSP president Kumar Kanivir and secretary Shankar Raj celebrated victory of the BSP in Utter Pradesh Assembly election by garlanding the statue of B.R. Ambedkar on the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office. They raised slogans praising BSP founder president Kanshiram and the party chief Mayavathi. They distributed sweets to people.

Members of the district unit of Bahujan Samaj Party, on Friday celebrated the electoral victory of their party, headed by Mayawati, in Uttar Pradesh.

Party activists, who had gathered in large number with Mundargi Nagaraj, State general secretary and district unit president P. Jagadishwar Reddy, rejoiced by bursting crackers at the H.R. Gaviyappa Circle and Gadagi Chennappa Circle in the city.

S. Vignesh, convenor of district unit of DSS, H. Arjun, H. Venkatesh, Nagaraj, K. Jagadish, Govindraj, BSP party activists, members of the district Ambedkar Sangha and other dalit organizations participated in the celebrations.
