Kochi : A Division Bench on Friday adjourned to May 15 the hearing on a petition filed by the Kerala Private Medical College Management Association seeking to withdraw its writ petition challenging the P.A. Mohammed Admission Supervisory Committee's directive on admission to professional colleges. The committee had directed the private self-financing medical colleges not to factor in the marks scored by a candidate in the Class X and Plus Two examinations while considering him/her for admission to professional courses. In its order, the Mohammed committee had also directed self-financing colleges to carry out admission to all seats only from the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
