Bhashyam student tops in Krishna

The management of the Bhashyam English Medium High School in the city has claimed that its student A. Ramya Sai had stood first in Krishna district by securing a total of 580 marks in the SSC examination.

Arunodaya students excel

The Arunodaya Concept High School at Vidyadharapuram on Friday claimed that its student Y. Sriharsha had secured a total of 549 marks in the SSC examination. Of the 11 students who appeared for the exam, nine had passed the test.

NGO's gesture

Chaitanya Spoorthi, a non-governmental organisation in Guntur, has distributed utensils, dress material and sarees to 250 persons of 60 families, who had lost all their belongings in a major fire mishap a fortnight ago at IDWA Nagar on city outskirts. Guntur RDO divisional officer S. Venkata Subbaiah distributed the material on behalf of the organisation in the presence of its treasurer Chandu Hanumayamma.
