One killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: One person was killed and six others were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling overturned between Kilimanoor and Thattathumala on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Kunjumon (26) of Thattathumala. The body has been kept in the Medical College hospital mortuary. The injured are Babu (27), Sanu (15), Suseela (45), Ani (36), Chellamma (52) and Jalaja (38). — Staff Reporter

Found hanging

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 16-year-old girl, Sheeba, daughter of Anigrace of Kottappuram, Vizhinjam, was found hanging inside her house on Friday evening. The body has been kept in the MCH mortuary.
