JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has urged Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) to help the State speed up various power projects and supply machineries to the units in the stipulated time frame. Ms. Raje, who met BHEL Chairman A. K. Puri in New Delhi on Friday before leaving for a visit abroad, said Rajasthan had launched a number of projects to attain self-reliance in power production by next year. BHEL has been asked to supply primary equipment for all these units. Ms. Raje asked Mr. Puri to deliver machineries to these plants without delay.
