State chess

Chennai: Jawahar Vidyalaya's TN State FIDE-rated ninth u-25 and sixth u-25 girls' chess tournaments will be organised by the Sports Promotion Foundation from June 2 to 8, at Jawahar Vidyalaya, Chennai. The prize pool for the tournament is Rs. 20, 400. Those born on or after January 1, 1982 are eligible to participate.

The first two in each category will qualify to represent Tamil Nadu in the 16th National u-25 boys' and girls' chess tournament, to be held at Ahmedabad from July 1 to 8.
