THRISSUR: Uttaranchal Health Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has urged the Kerala Government-owned Oushadhi to launch new ayurvedic products based on ancient texts. According to a press release from Oushadhi here on Saturday, the Minister told Oushadhi managing director H. Nagesh Parabhu that demand for ayurvedic medicines was on the rise in north India. The Minister inaugurated a pavilion set up by Oushadhi and the Indigeneous Systems of Medicine at `Arogya 2007', an exhibition organised by the Union Government in Dehradun recently. Oushadhi marketing manager Raghunandan V. Menon was also present on the occasion.
