New team for Supreme Court Bar Association

NEW DELHI: P. H. Parekh has been elected president of the Supreme Court Bar Association for 2007-2008. He secured 1,322 votes in the election held on Friday.

The other office-bearers are: vice-president -- Indra Sawhney; secretary -- Pareena Swarup; assistant secretary -- C. D. Singh; treasurer -- Prerna Kumari; assistant treasurer -- Sushil Balwada.

Senior Executive Members: Adish C. Aggarwala (1,174 votes); Kailash Vasudev; S.B. Upadhyay; Rakesh Kumar Khanna; Ashok Kumar Srivastava and V. Shekhar.

Executive Committee Members: Rohit Pandey; Ajay Jain; Meera Bhatia; Vikrant Yadav; Priyanka S. Mathur; M. Savitri Pandey; Anjani Kumar Mishra; P.N. Puri and Sandeep Narain.
