`Anandotsav 07' today

VIJAYAWADA: The Vijayawada chapter of the `Art of Living' is organising `Anandotsav - 07', a programme to celebrate the 51st birthday of `Art of Living' founder Ravi Shankar at Swaraj Maidan here on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, AOL teacher D. Srinivasa Raju said that soul-soothing music by Vikram Hazra would be highlight of Anandotsav, which would begin at 6. 30 p.m. Mr. Hazra, an accomplished guitarist, flutist and hymn singer, had produced six albums on spiritual music, he said.

The AOL teacher, quoting Mr. Hazra, said spiritual music had the capacity to expand the space around a person and mesmerise one with a genuine `wow' that would hang in the air enveloped in silence. Mr. Srinivasa Raju said that a blood donation camp would also be organised on the day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Red Cross Society, Gandhi Nagar.

AOL volunteer T. Satyanandam and others were present at the press conference.
