KANNUR: The Minority Department of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee flayed the Education Department's denial of permission to the Muhammad Abdurrahiman Sahib Memorial Government High School at Ettikkulam here to hang a portrait of Muhammad Abdurrahiman, a freedom fighter. Chairman K.K. Kochumohamed stated in a release here that the denial of permission amounted to an insult on freedom fighters. He demanded that the Government permit the school to hang the portrait and install a plaqueto commemorate Muhammad Abdurrahiman.
