Music director dead

KOZHIKODE: Music director Kozhikode Yesudas died here on Saturday. He was 55. He had been suffering from cancer for the past four years.

Though he had composed music only for two films, `Anagha' and `Ponnaranjanam,' he produced a few hit songs, including `Angakale kizhakkin dikkil... ' and `Paduvan marannu poyi... ,' both rendered by his namesake K.J. Yesudas. Kozhikode Yesudas is survived by his wife, Lali, and daughters, Veena and Sithara.
