CHENNAI:
The police have arrested one more person in connection with the bid to kill an ICF employee last month.
Ahmad Basha, an employee of the Integral Coach Factory, was returning home from a gym in his cycle when two persons who came in a motorcycle accosted him and opened fire from a revolver. He was injured and admitted to hospital. According to the police, Pushparaj (38) of Villivakkam, who has been arrested, is a stunt artiste.
Judicial custody
A case of conspiracy has been registered against him. A court has remanded him to judicial custody.
Only a few days ago, the police arrested three persons, including Kumaran, who surrendered in a court in Kallakurichi. They were produced before a court, which remanded them to judicial custody.
