Verify GHMC poll rolls: Lok Satta

HYDERABAD: The Lok Satta Party on Saturday appealed to the citizens to register/verify their names appearing in the draft electoral rolls of Hyderabad city, Kukatpally, Serilingampally, L.B. Nagar and Gaddiannaram regions from May 21 to June 5.

B. Ankaiah, party working member, said in a statement that people should ensure that their names were accurate so that malpractices during the forthcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections could be avoided.

They could register by submitting Form 6, in case their names are missing in the rolls. The forms are available at all post offices, polling centres, municipal and revenue offices.
