Dissidents' meeting
Two days ahead of the `Re-dedication Day' celebrations planned by Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee on May 14, dissident Congress MLAs P. Janardhan Reddy, Marri Sashidhar Reddy and P. Shanker Rao met to work out strategies to air their views at the meeting. In their second meeting in two days on Saturday, held at the Greenlands Guest House, they discussed the show cause notice served on Dr. Shanker Rao. Sources said they took serious exception to the suspension of three Congress MLAs by the PCC while turning a blind eye to cross voting in the Council elections from the Assembly constituency. When contacted, Dr. Sashidhar Reddy said they would attend the meeting on Monday and articulate their views.
