Millet project meet at ICRISAT

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research will hold its 42nd annual group meeting of the All-India Coordinated Pearl Millet Improvement Project at ICRISAT from May 14 to 16. The meeting, to be attended by 1,500 delegates, will review last year's R&D results and plan its future course.

EdCET workshop

The Iqra Society for Career Guidance will organise a workshop on `How to prepare for EdCET 2007' on May 20 at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat. S.K.V. Suryanaryana Raju, convenor, EdCET, will be the chief guest. V. Sudhakar, dean, Faculty of Education, Osmania University, will preside. Management games

School of Management Studies, JNTU, is organising a one-day workshop on Management Games on May 14, 2007 for the committee members of educational trusts and societies managing educational institutions. NIFT fashion show

The final year students of Fashion and Apparel Department, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Madhapur, will present `Design Collection-07' on May 14. They will showcase their practical design collections at Hotel Marriott. Representatives of business/trade are expected to attend the show which will take off at 7.30 p.m.

Foundation for church

Reverend B. P. Sugandhar, Bishop-in-Medak and Moderator, Church of South India, will lay foundation stone for the CSI Diamond Jubilee Wesley Church on May 13 at 11.30 a.m. on the church premises in Ramkote. The new church is a semi-circular model with 6,000 seating capacity, according to a press release issued here on Saturday.
