Hunger strike before DIG office planned

KOCHI: C.S. Murali, Coordinator of Pattikajathi-Varga Samara Coordination Committee, has threatened to go an indefinite hunger strike in front of the office of DIG, Ernakulam, from May 16 if official action is not taken against the SI, ASI and police constables of Koratty police station who allegedly beat up Rajesh of Chirattappurakkal, Paravoor. K.K. Narayanan, general secretary of Kerala State Vettuva Mahasabha, said here on Saturday that no FIR had been prepared against the accused policemen. - Staff Reporter

Camp on behavioural problems in children

KOCHI: A 15-day camp on `how to handle behavioural problems in children' will be organised by CERCH Homoeopathy Kadavanthara and Kottayam from May 14. The timing is between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mothers would get free guidance on how to handle behavioural problems of their children.
