`Sunny' day for Deutsche Bank customers

Gavaskar likens personal financial planning to cricket

CHENNAI: Cricket legend and Deutsche Bank product ambassador Sunil Gavaskar interacted with the bank's customers at a get-together in the city on Friday.

According to a bank release, `Sunny' met with top customers and visited the offices of the retail bank's key corporate clients.

He likened personal financial planning to cricket.

"To get ahead in life, we all need smart strategies, be it in the game of cricket or in our everyday working lives. Through its financial planning, Deutsche Bank helps its customers to adopt just those strategies to make their money work harder for them."

Expanding

customer base

The release added that in 15 months after the rollout of its suite of personal banking products and services, Deutsche Bank had crossed the 2.5 lakh retail customer mark in April.

The bank now has eight branches in seven cities across the country — Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai and Noida.
