`Distribute occupied land'

HYDERABAD: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has asked the State Government to take steps to resume lands under illegal occupation of the rich and distribute them to the eligible poor.

The CPI (M) State committee wanted the Government to stop its "repression" unleashed against the poor who launched agitations in support of their demand for house sites. Or else, the party threatened to intensify its pro-poor agitations.
