Fire in spare parts market

NEW DELHI: A fire of medium intensity broke out in the Guru Nanak Market complex at Kashmere Gate here on Sunday.

However, no one was reportedly injured in the incident.

According to the Fire Service Department, the fire broke out around 10 p.m. in the second floor of the market complex that comprises mostly auto-spare-parts shops. Over 20 fire tenders were pressed into action and the fire fighting operations were on till late at night.

The police suspect that the fire broke out because of a short circuit.
