MRF tops JD Power study for 5th time

CHENNAI: MRF has been ranked the highest in customer satisfaction with original equipment tyres in India, according to the JD Power Asia Pacific 2007 Customer Satisfaction Index study released recently. In the seventh year of the study, MRF ranked the highest for a record fifth time, improving its overall performance to 840 points on a 1,000-point scale, up by 18 points from the 2006 study, says a release. The study analyses new-vehicle buyer perceptions of five critical factors — appearance, durability, ride, traction and handling. MRF's performance was driven by particularly high ratings from customers in all five factors.
