Toppers make BVB proud

ERODE: Bharathi Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Thindal, has secured the distinction of producing all the three district toppers. The school added another feather to its cap by having the State topper in statistics and Hindi.

P. Aravind of the school stood first in the district with 1,177 out of 2,000. In statistics, he secured centum and topped in State. V.K. Sivabalan secured 1,174. The boy also secured the distinction of standing State third in statistics with 200 out of 200.

G. Kannan Vikas and C.T. Kumar Palaniappan secured the district third rank with 1,172. The boys told The Hindu that they planned to pursue engineering.

Aravind said he would like to pursue electronics and communication engineering and then masters in management. His friends were no different. All of them said they would also pursue electronics and communication engineering.

Hard work

And, all the boys share an interest in Harry Potter. The boys further said they worked hard, and harder prior to the exam that helped them secure good marks.

In Hindi, Tanushree Jain, also from the school, did the district proud by securing State first (197/200). She told The Hindu over phone that she would like to become a software engineer.

Pon Arthi, also from the school, secured the third rank in State in Hindi with 196.
