Speeding lorry kills man

CHENNAI : A 38-year-old man died after a speeding lorry, travelling in the wrong direction, hit the motorcycle he was riding near Tambaram on Sunday evening.

The victim, C. Murugan (38) of Tirupporur, was proceeding on the Chennai Bypass to Koyambedu. Murugan was seriously injured and taken to Government General Hospital in Chennai, where he succumbed to injuries.
