YOU Telecom buys IceNet's ISP business

CHENNAI: Citigroup-owned YOU Telecom (formerly Iqara Telecoms India Pvt. Ltd.), the ISO 9000:2001 accredited broadband service provider, has acquired the ISP business of IceNet, the Ahmedabad-based digital Internet service provider. With YOU Telecom focused on providing next generation broadband applications, the acquisition will further help YOU Telecom's triple play ambitions as IceNet is a strong player in the VoIP space, primarily data and voice, according to a release.
