CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

On Monday, heat wave conditions prevailed over parts of north coastal Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The maximum temperature rose markedly at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, rose appreciably at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, north coastal Tamil Nadu, rose at a few places over rest Tamil Nadu, fell appreciably at one or two places over south Kerala, fell at one or two places over interior Karnataka and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Forecast (Valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Maily dry weather will prevail over Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

HEAT WAVE WARNING: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over some parts of north coastal Tamil Nadu and south coastal Andhra Pradesh during next two days.
