PALAKKAD: Southern Railway is running a tri-weekly special super-fast train between Chennai and Mangalore. Train no. 0661 Chennai Central-Mangalore Special will start at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive at Mangalore at 7.45 a.m. the following days. The service is from May 15 to 29. Train no. 0662 Mangalore-Chennai Central Special will leave Mangalore at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from May 16 to 30 and arrive at Chennai Central at 8.45 a.m. the following days. The trains will have an AC two-tier, an AC three-tier, nine sleeper class, four general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
