BANGALORE: Jayanagar Sports Club (JSC) and Indiranagar Basketball Club (IBBC) set up a title clash for the boys' honours in the State Junior basketball championship. At the Sree Kanteerava Stadium outdoor courts here on Tuesday, JSC and IBBC recorded two victories apiece in the semi final league matches. After JSC edged past Young Orions 41-40 in the morning, there was a lot more of coordination and fluidity in the JSC attack as it overwhelmed Ambedkar SC 69-49 in the evening session with Sujan once again playing a stellar role. IBBC looked a notch above Ambedkar in the morning winning 67-38. It won over Young Orions later in the day at 56-39. In the girls session Beagles defeated JSC 59-41 while Viveks outplayed Rovers (Dharwad) 34-17. The results (semifinal league): Boys: IBBC 67 (Gopi 24, Naveen 14) bt Ambedkar SC 38 (Adeel Anees 22) (Ht: 24-18); JSC 41 (Sujan 21) bt Young Orions 40 (Ht: 17-17); IBBC 56 (Raam Reddy 14, Gopi 12, Nitin 11) bt Young Orions 39 (Tejus 20) (Ht: 31-21); JSC 69 (Sujan 20, Ritesh 10) bt Ambedkar SC 49 (Arvind 19, Adeel 18)(Ht: 30-16).
