ALAPPUZHA: The Dalit Human Rights Protection Service (DHRPS) has urged the State Government to expedite the process of establishing a State-level Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes on the lines of the National SC/ST Commission. DHRPS chief coordinator N.T. Prabhakaran said the E.K. Nayanar Government had decided 10 years back to set up such a commission.
