ALAPPUZHA: The Travancore Chamber of Commerce, Alappuzha branch, in association with trade/business and service organisations has formed a social welfare forum the Public Interest Forum of Alleppey (PIFA). Resident welfare associations and PTAs are also part of the forum. The forum will study the difficulties faced by businessmen and the common man and draw up solutions in consultation with the authorities. The office-bearers of the forum are Jose Joseph Kavalackal, president, Tomy Pulickattil and Sabil Raj, vice-presidents, Anilkumar G, secretary, S. Nataraja Iyer, joint secretary, and M.K. Narayana Panicker, treasurer, said a release by chamber chairman M.V. Viswanathan.
