Order on Kohli's extradition reserved

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court has reserved its order on extradition of Maninder Pal Singh Kohli, accused of criminally assaulting and killing British teenager Hanna Foster, to the United Kingdom following a few additional submissions by the Ministry of External Affairs. The court will pass the order on June 6.

Earlier, on April 28, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau had set May 14 as the date for passing the order. However, with the Ministry of External Affairs making a few additional submissions, the court has decided to hear final arguments on June 1.

Kohli has been in judicial custody for over two years after his arrest on July 14, 2004, at Kalimpong in West Bengal.
