Power shutdown today, Friday

MANGALORE: Power supply to Jeppu, Patna, Mahakali Padpu, Morgans Gate, Bolar, Jeppina Mogaru, Padil, Mahavir Circle (Pumpwell) and adjoining areas will be interrupted from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday as Mangalore Electricity Supply Company (MESCOM) Ltd. will be undertaking maintenance work on the 11-kV Moti Mahal feeder originating from Kulshekar sub-station, according to a MESCOM press release here on Tuesday.

Power supply to Kadri, Circuit House, All India Radio, Madhuvan Apartments, Kadri Kambla Road, Kadri Kambla Circle, Vyas Rao Road, Pinto Lane, Maroli Garage, Chandrika Layout, Karangalpady, Kudmul Ranga Rao, Bharathi Nagar (partially), Bejai pump house, Bejai Church, Bejai New Road, Sanklegudde and adjoining areas will be affected from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Friday to facilitate MESCOM take up maintenance work on the 11-kV Ashoknagar feeder, the release said.
