Second entrance to airport needed

In response to the feature on access to Bangalore International Airport, reader Reji Thomas says: In addition to the BMRDA Expressway connecting the airport, from National Highway 7, we should have a second entry to the east of the airport.

I have noticed the airport area plan and the express road entry leads to the same approach road from Bellary Road. This will only create a traffic load. The current proposal will create a bottleneck close to the airport entry. This single approach road is used by vehicles going to all the future industrial parks and aviation fuel tankers and cargo trucks.

To add to this, the traffic from its intersection of the proposed peripheral road will join it and it will have to take the vehicles coming from Bangalore east, Electronics City, HSR Layout, Hoskote, Kolar, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and also from the proposed satellite townships at Hoskote, Anekel etc.
