The office of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax - I, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday informed assesses that revised form for filing returns of various classes could be downloaded from websites www.incometaxindia.gov. in or taxindiaonline.com. An official release said that with effect May 15, returns would be accepted by the Department only in the revised format.
AITUC seeks wage arrears
Andhra Pradesh Council of All-India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) has demanded payment of wage arrears and ensure job protection to the staff of `Mata Sisu Rakshak' project of Family Welfare department. It said about 100 persons were working in each district. In a representation to Health Minister S. Chandrasekhar, council general secretary J. Chandrasekara Rao, protested against Government's `unfair' labour practice in not paying wages for several months. He urged the Minister to ensure job protection to staff while handing over the project to Satyam Computers.
Mock APPSC Group-II interviews
The Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Study Circle will conduct till the month-end mock interviews for BC, SC, ST, minority and OC candi dates attending interviews for the APPSC Group-II examination. Already 20 candidates have undergone mock inter views on May 10 and 11. Those interested can contact the study circle on 24651178, said director K. Mallikarjun.
