HYDERABAD: ACB officials on Tuesday arrested an Assistant Controller of Legal Metrology Thota Surya Prakash, working in Ranga Reddy district, on charge of amassing wealth illegally.

Searches conducted by the officials at his residence at New Bholakpur, his kin and the office at Malakpet revealed that he owned assets worth over Rs. 46 lakhs that were disproportionate to his known sources of income.
