NEW DELHI: The centralised admission forms for undergraduate courses of Delhi University will be available from June 1 to 15. Students can submit the forms during the same period. The forms will be available at different centres across the Capital, informed University Registrar A.K. Dubey. "These pre-admission forms will have a brochure that gives applicants all the necessary information about all the colleges and the courses that they offer. These forms do not guarantee admission, but they save students from the harassment of running from one institution to another to get information. They are basically registration forms," Dr. Dubey said. There are about 43,000 seats in 80 colleges under the University. Except for St. Stephen's and Jesus and Mary College, all colleges accept the centralised forms. "They do not say no to our forms but do not really go by them. They bring out their own forms," the Registrar said. The University will also organise "open-day" sessions beginning May 24 at five separate places to facilitate dissemination of information and interaction between students and parents with faculty members.
