Fourth win for Vijayalakshmi

NEW DELHI: S. Vijayalakshmi easily defeated Romania's Woman International Master Francesca Foiser Sabina to reach four points from five rounds of the Liechtenstein Open chess tournament at Triesen, Switzerland, on Tuesday.

The 30-move victory took Vijayalakshmi within half-a-point of the three-man leaders' group.

However, Vijayalakshmi's sister S. Meenakshi (three points) surrendered to German's Matthias Thesing in 30 moves.
