All set for trial run

SEOUL: South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun has said that the historic test runs of cross-border railways on Thursday will be a stepping-stone for an inter-Korean economic union. The test run of the cross-border railways is a big stride in the development of the Korean people as well as a meaningful progress for peace on the Korean Peninsula, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency quoted Mr. Roh as saying. He said that his Government would make sustained efforts to build inter-Korean trust. — Xinhua
