ISM holds talk on terrorism

Thiruvananthapuram: A discussion on terrorism was organised by the Kerala State committee of the Ithihadu Shubbanil Mujahadeen (ISM) here on Wednesday.

Speaker K. Radhakrishnan inaugurated the discussion, aimed at creating a consensus against terrorism among various youth organisations in the State.

The meeting was presided over by ISM State president Mujaboor Rehman Kinaloor.

DYFI all-India president P. Ramakrishnan, AIYF State secretary Mahesh Kakkath, Youth Congress State president P. Siddique, Muslim Youth League State general secretary Shaji K. Wayanad, NYC general secretary Ibrahim Kutty Kallar and Yuva Janata Dal president Sheikh. P. Harris were present.

The ISM had launched a campaign centred on the theme `Whether terrorism was a form of resistance.'

It had conducted debates on the subject at several places in the district.
