BHOPAL: Following allegations of leakage of questions and a public interest litigation (PIL) filed in the Madhya Pradesh High Court last week to call off the entrance examination for the prestigious National Law Institute University here, the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board has decided to conduct the examination afresh on May 29. Through the PIL, the petitioner had drawn the attention of the Court to "grave irregularities" in the conduct of the entrance examination held at different centres across the country on May 6. He had also sought a detailed inquiry into a series of events and occurrences relating to the management and administration of the exam that raised substantial doubts about the fairness, transparency and overall seriousness towards the examination. It is learnt that the decision to re-conduct the exam was taken after an internal inquiry conducted by a specially set up committee.
