dated May 18, 1957: Deputy Ministers

The President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has appointed Mr. Kotha Raghuramiah and Mr. Alungal Mathai Thomas, MP, to be Deputy Ministers, a press communiqué from Rashtrapathi Bhawan announced in New Delhi on May 17. A communiqué from the Cabinet Secretariat said Mr. Raghuramiah would be attached to the Ministry of Defence and Mr. Thomas to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
