ALAPPUZHA: Kalanjali, a three-day State-level Youth Festival, will be organised from Friday here by the Kerala Brahmana Sabha. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Sabha president P. Venkitarama Iyer said the event would be held at the SDV School and the Mullakal Brahmana Samoohamadam, during which over 1,000 youngsters would compete in 51 items spread over 157 contests. This would be in sub junior, junior, senior and group categories. The festival would be inaugurated at 3.30 p.m. on Friday by the K.C. Venugopal, Alappuzha MLA.
