Invite civic staff for talks: AITUC

HYDERABAD: The State Council of the All-India Trade Union Congress on Thursday urged the Government to stop suppression of the four-day-old indefinite strike by municipal employees across the State and invite them for talks immediately.

In a statement, P.J. Chandrasekhar Rao, general secretary, said the striking workers were arrested and that private persons were being engaged for sanitation work with the help of police.
