HYDERABAD: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has challenged the Telugu Desam Party leadership to furnish proof of the ruling party's corruption in `Jalayagnam'. Referring to the TDP chargesheet against the Congress Government, Government Whips D. Sridhar Babu and S. Uday Bhanu, said in a statement here on Thursday said that the TDP had no logic in its argument on corruption. The ruling Congress had given ample opportunities to the TDP and other Opposition parties by holding public debates at the project sites for nearly a year. Those debates began on April 10, 2005 (Thotapalli barrage) and ended on February 5, the next year at Pebbair. But Naidu, who claimed that there was largescale corruption in the award of contracts, could not prove even a single charge against the Government.
